Refund policy
Applies to everything we sell — subscriptions, perpetual licenses and update years.
Short version: 30 days, unconditional, on every purchase. Email us and we refund you. No forms, no reason required.
30 days, unconditional, on every purchase.
Subscriptions (monthly or annual), one-time perpetual licenses, and update-year renewals are all covered. “Unconditional” means what it says: you do not need a reason, and we will not ask you to talk to support first.
How to request one.
Email support@alphatill.com from the address you purchased with, or open a ticket from your customer portal. We process refunds back to the original payment method — your bank usually posts it within 5–10 business days, which is their timeline, not ours.
A refund ends the license.
This is the one condition. When we return your money the license is deactivated, so the paid tier stops working on your devices. The app does not lock you out of your records: your local database and all your data stay on your computer, and you can export everything. The free Solo edition is a licensed tier, and the app offers it to you directly: when a trial ends or a paid licence is deactivated, AlphaTill asks whether you want to continue free on Solo or upgrade, and issues the Solo key for that machine on the spot. The key does not expire. Your data stays on your computer and you can view and export it at every stage. If the in-app option is ever unavailable, email support@alphatill.com and we issue the key by hand.
Trials never charge you.
The 14-day trial takes no payment. If you never complete checkout there is nothing to refund, because you were never billed. Cancelling during a trial costs you nothing.
After 30 days.
Subscriptions can be cancelled any time and stop at the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not pro-rate an unused part of a period, and we do not bill you again after you cancel. A perpetual license is yours permanently, so there is nothing to cancel: if you stop renewing update coverage the software keeps working.
Chargebacks.
If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of emailing us, we treat it as a refund and the license ends. Emailing us is faster and gets the same money back — the chargeback route just adds several weeks and a bank in the middle.
Taxes and currency
Refunds are issued in the currency you paid in, for the amount you paid. Where tax was collected it is refunded with the purchase. Currency-conversion differences applied by your own bank are outside our control.
