We are looking for 10 shops willing to run AlphaTill for real and tell us the truth about it.

AlphaTill is finished software with an unfinished reputation. We would rather earn that with a handful of shops we can support properly than with advertising, so this is the offer, in full, with nothing held back for the follow-up email.

What you get

  • A free or steeply discounted licence for the duration of the programme, agreed with you before you start.
  • Direct support from the founder — not a ticket queue. You get a person who can change the software.
  • Your reported problems prioritised ahead of the roadmap, because a defect that stops your shop trading is more important than a feature nobody has asked for yet.

What we ask for

  • Candid feedback, including the parts that are unflattering to us. A partner who is too polite to tell us the till is confusing is not helping.
  • Permission to publish anonymised outcome data — numbers from your own reports, with your shop unnamed unless you separately agree otherwise.
  • Enough of your time to actually install it and use it as your real till, rather than evaluating it in a spare hour.

Why only 10

We are capping this at 10 shops. Support quality is the product at this stage, and an eleventh partner would come at the expense of the other ten.

Before you say yes: the installer is unsigned

Our Windows installer is not yet code-signed. When you run it, Windows SmartScreen will say “Windows protected your PC” and hide the Run button behind “More info” → “Run anyway”. That means we have not bought a certificate yet — not that the file is unsafe — and you can verify the download against the SHA-256 we publish before you trust it.

We will not add hidden usage tracking to your till to measure this. Anything we want to learn from your shop we will ask you for, or agree with you in writing first.

The installation guide walks through it, and the download page publishes the checksum to verify against.

Email sales@alphatill.com with your trade, roughly how many tills and staff you run, and what your current system does badly. You will get a reply from the founder, not an autoresponder.
